Founded in 2017, Kamlaas was established by Abhishek Pandey, a fourth-generation entrepreneur from the renowned Pandey family of artisans. Having grown up surrounded by blocks, dyes, fabrics, and the rhythmic sounds of hand-printing, Abhishek inherited not just the skills, but the soul of this artistic craft. He learned the intricacies of hand block printing through years of observation and hands-on training from his father and grandfather—both stalwarts in the traditional textile industry.
Long before Kamlaas took shape as a full-fledged brand, the Pandey family served as trusted manufacturers to some of the biggest names in the textile and apparel industry. For decades, they operated as silent pillars behind top Indian brands, supplying high-quality hand block printed fabrics and products on a B2B model.
Carrying this legacy forward, Kamlaas continues to be associated with many of the industry’s leading labels—manufacturing for them with the same commitment to authenticity, detail, and craftsmanship that the family has upheld for generations.
